The Heavenly Woods Candle Co. story starts where all good things do: in a kitchen, surrounded by the warm glow of candlelight and the quiet worry of a pet owner.

How It All Began

When our founder first brought home a rescue dog, she began reading every label in the house — and what she found in most candles was unsettling: synthetic fragrance blends, paraffin wax derived from petroleum, and ingredients she couldn't pronounce, let alone feel good about burning near her new four-legged family member.

She didn't want to give up the ritual of lighting a candle at the end of a long day. So she started making her own. What began as a weekend experiment in small-batch candle making quickly became something she couldn't keep to herself — friends asked for them, then friends of friends, and soon, Heavenly Woods Candle Co. was born.

What "Natural" Really Means to Us

We use the word natural carefully, because we know it gets thrown around a lot. Here's exactly what it means at Heavenly Woods:

• Clean-burning wax: We work with soy or coconut-blend waxes — renewable, biodegradable, and free from the toxins released by paraffin.
• Phthalate-free fragrance: Our scent blends are crafted without phthalates or other harmful additives commonly found in synthetic fragrances.
• Pet-safe formulations: Every product is thoughtfully formulated with your whole household in mind — including the furry members. Our home fresheners are made specifically to be safe around pets.
• Cotton wicks: No lead, no zinc — just clean, even burns every time.
